Joel Salatin is a full-time alternative farmer and nationally known author from Virginia. His family farm services more than 1,500 families, 10 retail outlets, and 30 restaurants through on-farm sales and metropolitan buying clubs with salad bar beef, pastured poultry, pigaerator pork, forage-based rabbits, pastured turkey and forsetry products- using relationaship marketing.
His speaking and writing reflect dirt-under-the fingernails experience punctuated with mischievous humor. He passionately defends.
The evening will begin at 5:30pm with a presentation from the world renowned author, Joel Salatin. Stay a while longer and enjoy a local food dining experience brought to you by Sherry Hurley (Farm to Fork Catering), in partnership with some of Louisville's favorite chefs: Kathy Cary-Lily's, Mark Williams-Brown Forman, Timothy Tucker- Center of Hope Culinary Training Program, Katie Payne- Chef Instructor Sullivan University, local chef Jim Whaley, and CFA board member Jo Self- BonVivant Savant. .
